After a long, dry, hot end of summer, the abrupt change to rainy, cool Northwest was a shock; the rain was very welcome but, still, it was a shock. The trees and gardens and spawning salmon were happy.
Fall colours in the park
Meanwhile indoors, some little peppers ripen. These were growing on my balcony but at a very slow rate. I brought them indoors and they flourished.
